The LSFA Needs Your Help: Join Us in Building a Stronger Community
When I first took on the role of chair for the Local Support and Friendship Association (LSFA) eight years ago, our team was vibrant and full of dedicated individuals, each responsible for organising and running our numerous events. Over time, as children have grown up and moved on, many of their parents understandably stepped back from their roles. This natural progression has left us with a very small group managing everything that keeps our school and community activities thriving.
We are always immensely grateful to those who show up to support our events and to the volunteers who lend a hand on the day. However, it’s important to recognise that a significant amount of time and energy goes into preparing for each event. From purchasing supplies and booking venues to organising schedules and labeling materials, the behind-the-scenes work is extensive and often goes unnoticed.
Why We Need Your Help
To ensure the sustainability of LSFA moving forward, we need to distribute responsibilities more evenly. Without additional support, the number of events we can host and the funds we can raise will dramatically decrease, impacting the very fabric of our community. We’re reaching out to you because your involvement can make all the difference.
How You Can Make an Impact
If you’re able to take on the running of an event or are prepared to join a committee to help share the load, we encourage you to get involved. Your contribution, no matter how small, helps maintain the vibrant community spirit that LSFA fosters. The link to sign up is below.
